Barrus partners with Z Nautic Group

ENGINE specialist Barrus has introduced Zodiac and Bombard to its growing portfolio of marine leisure products with exclusive distribution of the full range in the UK and Northern Ireland.

As market leaders in the design and manufacture of high-quality RIBs and inflatable boats, the Zodiac and Bombard ranges complement Mercury and Mariner outboards, enabling Barrus to offer the most technically advanced boat and engine packages to the leisure and commercial user.

“The range of Zodiac and Bombard RIBs has been a long-anticipated addition to our portfolio,” said Ben Allen, general manager for the Marine Leisure Division of E P Barrus Ltd.

Zodiac invented the inflatable boat and has more than 120 years of experience in building RIBs that are renowned for resistance and reliability.

Following a scientific expedition in the 1950s, Dr Alain Bombard oversaw the creation of a line of inflatable boats designed for pleasure boating.

By offering safe, robust products, Bombard has forged his values of adventure and reliability into the brand that bears his name.

To strengthen the existing Zodiac Nautic dealers worldwide, Barrus will be securing authorised dealers within the UK while supporting its existing network. To support UK sales and build the brand profile further, the product catalogue is currently being produced in English and stock will be held in the UK to meet customer demand.
