Get creative with Canalside online

-

AFTER the success of their Christmas workshops last year, Canalside Farm near Stafford will be holding a series of Christmas wreath workshops via Zoom.

Victoria Barton will be inspiring people to get creative and teaching them how to use natural greenery and trimmings to create a wonderful, welcoming wreath for their front door or centrepiece for their table.

Two hour workshops will take place on December 3 and 5. Victoria will also run bespoke workshops, for groups of eight people or more (at their homes via Zoom).

Farm co-owner Anna Barton said: “We really hope the workshops will lift people’s spirits and give them something creative and positive to focus on.”

All of the materials needed to make the wreath will be boxed up ready to collect from the Farm Shop the day before, along with Canalside mince pies and instructions to access your live workshop. The farm, shop and takeaway hut beside the Trent & Mersey Canal at Great Haywood are open daily between 9am-4pm.

Each wreath box will cost £35 and will include a selection of fresh foliage; fresh and dried flowers; fruits and pods; a pre-made 12in moss ring; wire for attaching cones and a festive ribbon for either hanging or making a bow.
