Wheel Revolutions: A marina-to-marina bike event

Diary date: May 30, 2021 – a Sunday bank holiday weekend bike ride.

To complete the cycle – pardon the pun – and to highlight the joys of a boating lifestyle by connecting cities and marinas, a 100-mile road bike event from Lady Lane Wharf, Birmingham, to New Islington Marina, Manchester, has been arranged.

Departing early doors from Lady Lane Wharf and arriving some hours later (depending on rider speeds!) in New Islington Marina, this event includes a support vehicle and refreshments.

Riders are welcome to apply and there is no fee. Participants will need to arrange accommodation and transport to and from the start/ end points, and insurance is recommended. Favourable block rates at the Birmingham or Manchester Holiday Inn Expresses are on offer if required.
