GERMAN bootmaker Hanwag believes that the secret to great outdoor footwear is the perfect fit.

This summer, the company has been taking that offering one step further with the introduction of new, additional fit options and an extended range of sizes in order to truly ensure there is a Banks GTX boot for every outdoor enthusiast.

An all-rounder that will easily take on a wide variety of UK terrain, from flatter routes to more challenging hill-walking, the Banks is available in a narrow, standard and a wider SF Extra model.

This year Hanwag has added a men’s version of the narrow fit model to the collection and will also expand the size range that’s available for people to choose from.

The Banks GTX is now available up to size 14, while the Banks Lady GTX goes up to a size 10. All models are available in half sizes too, making it easy to achieve tailor-made comfort.

The supportive upper is made from 100% LWG (Leather Working Group) gold-rated nubuck leather that guarantees both high quality and sustainable manufacturing.

A PFC-free impregnation on the exterior of the boots offers protection from wet weather or boggy ground while a Gore-Tex lining ensures feet stay dry and comfortable, no matter how wet it gets. The use of stitch and turn seams means the boot is resistant to abrasion on the trail and robust cast iron lace hooks offer extra durability and secure lacing. The boot is completed with a Vibram® Endurance Pro outsole.
