Three new products in the Hotspot range
LEADING stove and fireplace maintenance brand Hotspot has launched three new products: Stove Rope Replacement Kits, Flue Free Chimney Cleaner sachets and Fire Cement 310ml cartridges.
The stove rope kits are available in five different rope thicknesses. The kit includes 1.5m of stove rope, a 30ml Heatbond fixative adhesive (that comes with an integrated application brush) and two lengths of ceramic tape to apply to the area you may want to cut to avoid the rope from fraying.
The Flue Free Chimney Cleaner 90g sachets are non-corrosive and suitable for use with all flues.
The sachet when burned not only stops the build-up of tar and creosote, it also removes it.
Hotspot Fire Cement withstands temperatures up to 1500C and is ideal for patching and repairing.
Available in a 310ml cartridge in Buff and Black, the Fire Cement will permanently repair and seal cracks in firebricks, fireplaces, solid and multi fuel ovens, ranges, boilers, internal flues, central heating and other areas where heat resistance is required.
Hotspot was acquired by Rustins Ltd last year; its product range covers applications ranging from stove and grate paints and polishes through to marble, glass and multipurpose cleaning products. It also includes brick and stone sealers, fire cement, slate oils and other sealing and finishing products.
