Tribute to Jean – a postscript

IN THE tribute to the late Jean Farmer (News Extra, Issue 193, November), we inadvertently used the wrong photo from the two submitted.

Taunton boater Keith Furzer described his soulmate Jean Farmer who died earlier in the year, aged 75, as ‘a wonderful lady’ who would be sadly missed.

Jean, whose nickname was Cock Crab and Keith, also known as Tightlines and Fuzzy, first appeared in Towpath Talk back in 2013.

This followed a dispute with the Canal & River Trust over a floral display in memory of Keith’s parents at his Bathpool mooring. A few years later his weight loss success was also featured.
