Putting us straight on Ponty site
CAN I first of all congratulate you on the excellent Towpath Talk paper. Loads of interesting articles and information, also the useful advertisements.
I wonder though whether I could point out that your front page Pathway Project piece (News, Issue 193, November) could be misconstrued by those not familiar with the area. I’m probably being picky, but could I point out that Lion Quays at St Martin’s Oswestry is not a World Heritage site, but an excellent spa and restaurant. The WH title refers of course to the wonderful Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which lies several miles to the north, a 10-minute drive by car.
