Help make London’s iconic canal festival a success
COME and join the fantastic team of volunteers who organise one of the most successful and best attended inland waterways events in the country – IWA Canalway Cavalcade.
This unique festival, now in its 39th year, is held annually over the three days of the early May Day Bank Holiday in the heart of London at Little Venice. IWA’s Canalway Cavalcade is a vibrant waterways celebration.
London’s Little Venice is transformed with hundreds of colourful boats, live music, refreshment stands, craft stalls and family activities.
Preparing for next year we need to strengthen the team and fill some much-needed roles in the committee.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who love getting stuck in and have a positive and eager ‘can do’ attitude for a variety of exciting roles.
All will need to come to around eight online committee meetings per year and be available during the week to take on duties attributed to the role. You will of course also be required to attend the event too.
