A great day out on the south coast

-

SOUTHAMPTON International Boat Show 2022 is a great day out for everyone, with more than 550 exhibiting brands and 650 craft of all shapes and sizes on display from September 16-25.

With Europe’s largest purpose-built show marina, the event usually attracts more than 100,000 visitors and provides a showcase for everything the leisure marine industry has to offer. Owned and operated by British Marine, it also provides an exciting family day out with many chances to get afloat.

The On the Water Stage has a daily rolling programme of events which include a jet ski show and new eco-tech display. From a James Bondstyle performance on the flying foiling Fliteboard (riding a hydrofoil over water), to cycling on the water with the Manta5 foiling bike and diving with a Seabob, these water-based entertainers will keep guests on the edge of their seats.

Flyboarder James Prestwood has a show which is action-packed with tricks and thrills, as he soars high in the air and dives deep into the sea below.

The show is open from 10am-6pm daily except the final Sunday when it will close at 5pm.
