Southampton Boat Show environmental awards
NOMINATIONS for the Southampton International Boat Show Exhibitor Environmental Awards 2022 can be made until Friday, September 9.
This year marks the fourth year of the awards, recognising an exceptional exhibitor or exhibitors who have truly embraced environmentally responsible behaviour and sustainable work practices both during and outside the show.
Entrants need to demonstrate how they are promoting good environmental practice and sustainability to show visitors and their customers, be it through new products and equipment, environmentally friendly changes to their stand or even changes they have made to their day-to-day company procedures outside of the show.
The nominations will be judged by a specially selected panel consisting of Paul Gullet ( MD Wave Intl and president of British Marine), Mike Golding (patron of The Green Blue), James Brushwood (environment and health & safety executive British Marine), Phil Horton ( RYA environment & sustainability manager) and Kate Fortnam (campaign manager, The Green Blue).
The overall winner will be presented with their award by Mike Golding on the opening day of the show (Friday, September 16) on the Foredeck Stage at 11.30am.
All entrants will also receive a plaque to display during the show to demonstrate their commitment to sustainability.
