Family fun on the Whitchurch Arm

THE 27th annual Whitchurch Canal Festival will take place over the weekend of September 3-4 with lots to attract visitors.

Situated on the Whitchurch Arm of the Llangollen Canal SY13 1BE, it will include canal heritage displays, narrowboat traders, boat trips and a best-dressed boat competition for which the theme will be the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. There will also be stalls, The Towpath Cafe, a dog show and live music.

Open from 10am-4pm each day, the event is organised by the Whitchurch Waterways Trust.
