IWA Northampto­n: Boat Horse, tales of the working horse boats in music and verse, dance and puppetry by Phil and Denise Underwood and friends, the Bonnet & Belt Theatre Company. The Boat Inn, Stoke Bruerne. 7.30pm.

IWA Lichfield: Brownhills and the Wyrley & Essington Canal – an easy 5.5 mile circular walk along disused railways lines, footpaths and the towpath.
