Floating glamping pods offer alternative break
KILRUSH Marina has installed floating glamping pods in the peaceful and sheltered waters of its marina among the yachts and boats.
Available for short-term holiday lets, the pods are thought to be unique in Ireland and offer an alternative way – rather than boating – in which to experience life afloat.
Open all year around, each pod offers an outdoor seating area, a double and a single bed, a small kitchen/galley area with a fridge and microwave, and full use of the marina centre facilities, which includes toilets, showers, laundry, wi-fi and free parking.
Situated a short walk from the centre of Kilrush, the marina and floating pods make an excellent base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, Loop Head Peninsula and West Clare.
