Ben runs Yorkshire

Trail Running (UK) - - Warm-Up -

Ben Davis has run the entire boundary of Yorkshire – 470 miles and 41,000ft of elevation – in 18 days, carrying a tent on his back. “I needed a big challenge,” he told TR. “Running has changed my life – and me! I used to be five stone heavier and smoke a couple of packets a day.”

He found it tough: “I didn’t train for the hills enough, but have got the trail running bug now. As I reached the beach at Scarborough it hit me just how far I had travelled. There were so many people there cheering me on, it all was a little overwhelming. A moment I will never forget.”
