It’s a classic crampon with 12 points that are all 30mm long and four spikes are rotated through 90˚ for better grip on descent. This crampon is designed for use on deeper snow and firmer ice, as well as steeper slopes. The anti-balling plates have rubber bubbles that pop out to release snow that sticks to the base. It’s rated as C2 for use on stiff B2-rated 4-season boots and so, like other crampons of this category, it has a heel clip to allow quick and easy attachment to boots with a matching ledge at the heel. They are also available in a strap binding version if you need this for your boots.
