LEDLENSER X21.2 £330

OK, so with this price tag and a weight of 1400g, the X21.2 flashlight is not going to be in the backpack of many British hikers! However, it’s a world-class piece of kit. If you ever find yourself needing to go spotlighting for crocodiles (yes I know how pretentious this sounds, but honestly it’s a huge part of my job!) or trying to find your way in a midnight forest if you ever need to get a photo of mating lions by night, or target some bizarre nocturnal marsupial from their eyeshine, this is the best torch in the world. If you don’t want the weight and cost of this monster, then Ledlenser have many awesome smaller models from £28. For me, I’m always going to go for the mega X21.2 model. Perhaps I’m making up for something!
