CAPE CHIGNECTO COASTAL TRAIL

Pick of the bunch for the adventurous walker (or canoeist!). Encompassing beaches, wilderness campsites and cabins, this 33-mile backcountry trail slingshots the ‘natural environment’ park of the Chignecto Peninsula in the Fundy region of Nova Scotia. Here ancient forests, spectacular cliffs and the world’s highest tides (some rise at 1 inch per minute) can all be found.
