TEIDE, TENERIFE

Teide is a dramatic national park that plays host to the highest mountain in territorial Spain – and one of the biggest volcanoes in the world – Mt Teide, at 3,718m. The way up is incredibly Martian in its higher reaches, but very jungly lower down, and it’s a fine place to spot wildlife.
