WITH THE STORY OF “THE DAY A MOUNTAIN CHANGED MY LIFE”

To celebrate life-changing mountains, Trail has launched ‘The Day A Mountain Changed My Life’, an exciting writing competition in association with the John Muir Trust and Mountain Equipment.

All you have to do is send us your 400-word account of the single most memorable day you have spent in the outdoors, and every month we will publish the best.

It could be that day where the mountains gave you a fresh perspective which changed the course of your life forever, or an outing where something exciting, harrowing, or memorable happened. Whatever your experience, we want to celebrate these lifechanging mountains with you.

Every published writer gets one year of free membership to the John Muir Trust, plus Mountain Equipment kit!

As a John Muir member you will be part of an organisation that manages some of our most beautiful and wild places, including Ben Nevis and Helvellyn, striving to protect them for future generations.
