3 ESSENTIALS TO TAKE

-

30L RUCKSACK A rugged hillwalking sack with a slim profile and decent capacity for a daywalk with some extra layers is a must. The Deuter Futura 30 is one of the best we know of. DRY BAG Skye is no stranger to rain, and you’ll need something to protect your gear if a hoolie blows in. Sea To Summit’s dry bags are excellent – and can be used as water carriers in an emergency. SCRAMBLING BOOTS Climbing is generally easier in boots with a narrow profile, and the Cuillin’s rock is very coarse and rocky, so a protective rand and good support are a must. Scarpa’s Marmolada Pro are ideal.
