Rob Joh■so■ www.expeditionguide.com What’s it ●ike?

“The Inn Pin is a fairly straightforward rock climb in an amazing location with some awesome exposure. It is accessible to anyone who is fit enough to climb a Munro and also game enough for a bit of easy climbing at its summit. It has a short side (down which people usually abseil) and a long side which is the normal route of ascent. You can expect there to be other people about as it is always popular and that usually makes the climb sociable with much friendly banter to be had. The ascent is normally done in two pitches – you climb the first half to a ledge and then the second half to the top.” What ski●●s do I ■eed? “You need to be happy on Grade 3 scrambles or moderate rock climbs, with plenty of exposure. And happy abseiling approx 20m with lots of people watching!”

How much wi●● it cost? “If you book an instructor or guide then expect to pay around £200 for a day. You can share this with one or two other people.”
