GET WRITING… TRAIL WRITING COMPETITION

Every month since April we have handpicked a winner for our outdoor writing competition, ‘The Day a Mountain Changed My Life’. Each of the nine monthly winners so far have received a year’s membership to the John Muir Trust and £100 of Mountain Equipment kit for their 400-word mountain anecdote. There are now just three more opportunities to win before the competition ends. A panel of judges, including writer Robert Macfarlane, will choose the author of the best story of the year, who will claim the grand prize of a guided day on a John Muir-managed mountain, more Mountain Equipment gear and the chance to pen a full-length feature for Trail.
