“This is my Emma, my 16-yearold daughter, at the top of Black Comb at the head of the Mosedale valley, on the way to Scoat Fell. After this we headed up to Red Pike, then made our way off the mountain via Scoat Tarn, then up and over to Low Tarn, then finally by the side of Over Beck back to the road.
