These have 12 metal spikes that are 10mm deep, and they are held in place across six metal frames that are linked by a metal chain. So these are very durable but also lighter than other options with similar spike length. They don’t have a Velcro strap over the top, so they can roll off the boot when traversing slopes. They are great when used to follow ice or snow-covered level paths.
