“This was a last-minute adventure... We set off from Inverness in the early hours to potentially climb a new route, only to be presented with a fallen tree blocking our way into the Glen. Fast-thinking SMC member Chris Dickinson suggested we go to Aonach Eagach. Obviously my answer was yes! A day traversing in the clouds, limited visibility and soft snow made it hard going. As the sun set and the clouds lifted, the ridge came into view. Breathtaking.”
