“Pretty pleased with this one. Had Pillar on the to-do list for a while, and also needed to tick off a cloud inversion. On more of a hunch than a well executed plan, I set off from Wasdale at 7am. I soon hit cloud at the foot of the mountain and when it was still there at 850m I thought not only had I blown the cloud inversion but I was also in for a cloudy summit. 10m from the summit, I popped out of the cloud to blue skies and a 360° cloud inversion.
