An updated and renamed version of Montane’s Atomic waterproof overtrousers, the Dynamo are lightweight and practical trousers. They’re made from 40-denier nylon, with the latest version of Pertex Shield providing waterproofing and breathability, plus a Dry Touch backer for a less clammy feel. Extended threequarter length side zips now make them even easier to pull on and off – so, no more hopping around on the hillside. VERDICT Lightweight overtrousers that do their job – namely to keep you dry, with generous thigh zips that make them easier to get on and provide decent venting to stop things getting too sweaty.
