At 290g, this soft shell is ultralight and packs down compactly to the size of a Coke can. The Fortius 1.0 double weave materials ensure excellent breathability and block wind impressively, while the DWRcoating sheds water effectively in light showers. It feels more like a lightweight waterproof jacket than a traditional soft shell, albeit with more stretch for bendy activities.

VERDICT An ultralight, breathable, windproof and stretchy jacket for fast adventures – but it’s not that warm.
