This long-sleeved base layer has a bit of weight and warmth to it, so isn’t one for hot sweaty days in the mountains, but is a great option if you’re heading out on a wild camp or to a summit where you’re expect low temperatures. It’s packed with loads of clever ‘wicking’ technology to stop you sweating and the half-length zip is a good ventilation option. I’ve even used this as a mid layer with a thin T-shirt beneath it on spring walks.
