This well-priced, two-skin, one-person tent (1.33kg) strikes a good balance between weight, functionality and durability. A single central pole, which forks into a wishbone shape at each end via a hub connector, creates a freestanding structure. Over this goes the 20-denier, silicone-coated, 3000mm-rated flysheet, blocking out the wind and rain effectively. You also get a front vestibule, double-zipped door and large vent. VERDICT It’s not the most spacious, but this lightweight, 3-season tent is undoubtedly a bargain.
