Blurring the line between tent and bivouac, Snugpak’s Stratosphere (1.1kg) is a spacious, hooped bivvy with bombproof credentials (8000mm HH groundsheet and 5000mm HH outer) and an attractive price. Two aluminium poles criss-cross to create a freestanding, 48cm-high canopy around the head, while the long, wide interior easily houses a sleeping mat, sleeping bag and small backpack.
