FITNESS Decent hill fitness is required, but ultimately this is a pretty easy day in the fells. TERRAIN Good fells paths throughout over mostly grassy, rounded fells. There are a few steep ascents and descents, as well as a couple of very short scrambling sections, but there is no exposure or technical difficulty. NAVIGATION Generally following clear paths and forestry tracks, but solid navigation is required in poor conditions.
