“We had an excellent day on Tryfan’s north ridge yesterday. It was the hardest mountain I’ve ever climbed – and climbed is a good description, as there was hardly any walking until we were on the summit. Hands on rock from road to summit. This wouldn’t have been possible for me a couple of years ago, and it’s been quite a journey to get to this point. I’m so happy to have managed it. 13,380m so far this year.”
