“Bit busy last weekend, travelling the 100-mile Lady Anne’s Way from Skipton to Penrith. I kept a steady pace up; walking the uphills and flats and jogging the downhills. I snatched an hour’s sleep in our van in Kirkby Stephen, then completed the route in 33hrs 55mins. Friends travelled with me for much of the way and my partner Neil kept me fed and watered. I’ve held this goal for many years, so I’m not only very happy but very thankful to my friends for helping to make a dream come true.”
