A signposted path climbs meadowland in an easterly direction to the pass at Bwlch y Rhediad. Turn south, climbing the rocky shoulder of Moel Meirch, past Llyn Edno to the summit of Ysgafell Wen. Keep to the highest ground, passing above Llynnau’r Cwn (Dog Lakes) to meet Route 6 by a cairn overlooking Llyn yr Adar.
