“Weekends are made for this! We hiked the Merrick today, going up via Loch Valley, Loch Neldricken and Loch Enoch, then heading up Redstone Rigg to the plateau of the Merrick. Took the tourist route back going up and over Benyellery and back to the car. Views were amazing up and down the Ayrshire coast and the weather was perfect for hiking. Just over 10 miles and 879m of ascent.”
