THE NORTH FACE

The Mountain Track, which is clearly visible on the ground in much of this photo, veers closer to the sheer drops of the mountain’s north face than many people realise. In low visibility it’s easy to stray towards it, especially with snow cover, so make sure you give it plenty of space.
