Snowdon is an incredibly busy mountain and the volume of visitors places a huge strain on the small local communities. Pen-y-Pass car park is the starting point for some of the most popular routes but now needs to be pre-booked, so if you can’t get a spot then public transport on the Snowdon Sherpa Bus is your best option. If you do choose to drive, make sure you park sensibly and responsibly.
