Long shorts

I’d never heard of German brand Maier Sports before, but it turns out it is rather good at making walking trousers and shorts. In fact it’s Maier Sports’ speciality. The design is based on three principles: fit, functional quality, and sustainability. With a huge size range, based on waist size and leg length, I have to say that for both the ¾ shorts (Kluane) and full-length trousers (Inara Vario, £90), I do not own a better fitting pair of leg wear in my entire wardrobe. It’s not just the fit that’s great either, the Kluane shorts are lightweight and quick-drying, plus they’re super flexible and comfy with their 4-way stretch material. There are two main zipped pockets (these could be a little larger to fit a phone better) and a small zipped inner pocket.

Verdict
