Based on the legendary Ultra Raptor mountain running shoe, this is a lightweight yet durable mid-cut boot that offers plenty of structure and support when moving fast on technical terrain. The soft, tacky outsole also provides outstanding grip on wet and greasy rock. Just bear in mind that the precision fit might not suit those who are broader of hoof (but do try the wide version for size).

VERDICT A lightweight boot that still provides enough protection and support to be reassuringly stable on technical terrain. We found the regular fit to be surprisingly narrow, though this might suit some.
