I got my first pair of Expeditors back in summer 2013 and although that first pair is still going strong (albeit very bashed up), I've also added the updated version to my summer walking kit. What you're getting here is a durable, comfortable, fairly lightweight leather boot that's great for basic hillwalking and rocky mountain trails. They're waterproof, cushioned and fairly grippy thanks to the Opti-Stud sole. I've used them on plenty of dry scrambles but for me they reach their upper limit on wet rock. VERDICT My go-to leather summer boot for almost a decade. Good price, good performance, good all-rounder!
