“I went with the intention of capturing the sunrise at Llyn y Fan Fach in the Brecon Beacons in south Wales. A wild overnight camp and a 4am alarm allowed me to get in place to capture this sunrise on a bitterly cold morning with high winds and even some light snow flurries. The local legends talk of the lady of the lake marrying a local man. A beautiful lake surrounded by high mountain ridges, worth the cold and early morning rise.”
