“Pre-sunrise shot taken from near the base of the south ridge of

Sgurr na Banachdich after an early o’clock start from our house below the Cuillin Ridge in Glen Brittle on Skye. The sunrise itself wasn’t great since too much cloud mostly obscured the sun.

However, the blue hour was spectacular to watch, as the light increased and a hint of colour in the sky contrasted with the blues and blacks. The sinuous curves of the clouds contrasted with the jagged Cuillin peaks.”
