“Not quite the Munrobagging weekend that had been planned – the weather put paid to that! Friday we walked part of a section on the West Highland Way from Crianlarich up through Ewich Forest down to the A82 and back. Got an absolute soaking on the 8 miles. Yesterday we walked to Blackwater Reservoir from Kingshouse and back.

Dry on the outward walk and took a drenching on the way back, with 16 miles covered. The wildlife was amazing today. An eagle, pheasants, grouse, stags roaring protecting their harem. 24 miles covered and 1022m of ascent over the two days.”
