You get plenty of storage space, with great access to the main chamber through a large side-zip, and a lower sleeping bag compartment that doubles up nicely in winter as a place to stash your crampons. It’s tough enough to handle bumps and scrapes, with comfortable and well-padded straps and hipbelt.
