RAVEN “What’s all the cronking about?” We ravens have a big vocabulary with more than 80 different calls, including cronks, yells, knocks and rattles. We use beak gestures too, showing or offering items to other ravens. We might tell other birds where food is, warn them off it, or call a bigger animal, like a fox, to a carcass if we can’t open it ourselves.
