FITNESS A high level of mountain walking fitness required for today, to cope with accumulati­ve ascent, distance and terrain. TERRAIN The most technical day in terms of rocky and awkward terrain at times. But also with some wellengine­ered paths, tarmac lane and long, grassy ascents/ descents. NAVIGATION Following clear hills shapes and well-marked paths mostly, but with some upland navigation required in poor weather.
