Goatfell Isle of Arran

“I’ve just returned from a solo walk of the Arran Coastal Way (inadvertently getting stuck on the island due to Storm Dudley and ferry cancellations), and climbed a very cold Goatfell while there. The walk was part of my training for the Emergency Service Challenge (I work for the London Ambulance Service) – next year myself and colleagues from the Ambulance and Police services are doing a charity trek to Everest Base Camp. We’re raising monies for several charities that focus on staff wellbeing and mental health.” Katie Smith
