“Back from a fab 3-day Winter Skills Course in the Cairngorms with Hayley Webb from Mountain Adventures, who was brilliant. Met a great group of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts all looking to learn how to how to stay safe in the mountains in winter conditions. Lots of fun was had understanding how it feels to slip and slide downhill in the snow, how to safely use ice axes and crampons when needed, and how to build a small shelter if you need a break or to take stock of your situation. Lots more learned besides, including reading weather and avalanche reports. A brilliant few days away!” Charlotte Fionda
