The internal toe cap offers good protection at the front, but the key feature here is the Gore-Tex lining that means no water will find its way through the mesh upper. Like adult footwear, kids’ walking boots and shoes have come a long way in recent years, and the Rush occupies a nice middle ground between traditional walking boots and lightweight modern trail shoes.
